This is a technical and extraverted role with a wide range of responsibilities such as:ĭesign for accuracy and efficiency, including reviewing and testing the functionality and usability of UI Assets. The role will report to the Design System Manager. You have both UI and UX chops, capable of identifying what UX tools are required to educate users through storytelling and present case studies to receive constructive feedback. Their accuracy in work and organization within Design Thinking processes gives them the ability to manage and communicate with the Design System's users efficiently, including tasks to educate our users through the use of storytelling, resource sharing and user research. The ideal candidate is keen on the quality of a Design System's UI component library, embracing accuracy, thoroughness and competence into their work processes and the UI assets themselves while being decisive, focused on prioritization, to meet deadlines and manage your time with coherence within agile work processes.

Lastly, you will participate in designing the Design System's user experience for Designers and Engineers by building page layouts, conducting qualitative user research, adapting automotive technology for the system's governance and maintaining a technical understanding of the our UI Asset's structure, file format and code dependencies to meet feasibility and compliance requirements. You will also be responsible for the intake of the UI libraries and assist the Design System Manager in Sprint planning, cross-team communications and training. This role will design Figma-based UI components and their atomic relationship to other components within our shared assets libraries that are leveraged to design cross-platform interfaces.
